Highlights Library is a web-based platform featuring a collection of more than 2,000 digital stories and eBooks. This digital library is an all-encompassing learning management system to strengthen English-language learning skills for children. Children will love the engaging story features and adults can regularly track the child’s progress.

Enter your ID and password under “Student,” “Teacher,” or “Administrator.”
For example, if you are a student, click on “Student” on the menu and then enter your ID and password.

What kind of series are there in Highlights Library?
Highlights Library consists of four main series.
1. High -Five Series
The stories in High Five support the social and emotional development of children.
Rhyme, repetition, and patterned texts help children learn English while having fun.
2. Highlights Series
The stories in Highlights are for older children.
Children have a variety of interests while attending school and meeting new friends.
We have a variety of topics to satisfy these kids.
The Highlights Series is divided into Fiction and Non-fiction and is divided into 10 topics, including science, culture, sports, and character.
3. Zaner-Bloser Series
This series contains topics that children must learn to help them grow into mature adults.
This is a social learning series that can be read by younger students and adults.
This series helps students improve their English fluency.
4. Hello Series
The stories in Hello are for the youngest learners, who are just starting to read. Rhyming and simple texts are used with simple concepts.

How is the content classified?
Content is classified into 10 categories: School, Animals & Plants, Neighborhood, Sports & Outdoors, Art, Family & Friends, Science, World, Healthy Life, and Fun Stories. Choose your favorite categories by going to 'My Profile' → 'My Interests'.

What is a placement Test?
A placement test determines at what level you should begin reading. You may be prompted to take this placement test when you login for the first time. This functionality is optional, so you may not be given this placement test.

Can I read books at any level, or only books at my level?
When you log in, Highlights Library shows books at your reading level and interest area. To browse all books, select 'Library' from the Main Menu and then browse 'books'. Some schools set a limited range of levels that are available to students.

Can I take the Level-Up Test again?
Yes. Go to 'My Profile', then 'My Level'. Select a different level than your current level. Click 'Level-up Test' button. This functionality is optional, so you may not be given a Level-up Test.
